Job Purpose
Provides Electrical technical expertise within the plant to which he is assigned. Execute the service, repair and overhaul of electrical equipment in the plant as per approved procedures in support of the operation team and to optimize plant and availability.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct failure analysis of breakdown of critical and semi critical assets, technical report to be issued/documented and approved recommendation to be followed up till completion.
- Quality assurance and technical support of major and non-routine maintenance.
- Collect all technical concerns, improvement proposals, inspection findings and conduct technical study to avoid such problems in future.
- Provides input to the capital planning budget taking into account improvement opportunities and end of life replacement requirements.
- Conduct Spare part review for critical and semi critical assets, either periodically or in case of there is change in assets criticality including new assets.
- Conduct improvement study for assets or system according to monthly KPI, maintenance expenses and other factors, technical report to be issued/documented and approved recommendation to be followed up till completion.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma’s Degree in Electrical or Equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
Min 10+ years’ maintenance experience in Electrical maintenance in oil refinery / petrochemical / chemicals or fertilizer processing industry.
