Job Purpose
Provide technical support and reviews of corrosion, materials and mechanical Inspection matters to ensure compliance with engineering, relevant industry standards and good engineering practices.
Key Accountabilities
Participate in identifying and executing improvement opportunities and action plans based on actual performance.
Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by all direct/ contractors. Manage the budget allocation on an on-going basis.
Optimize the use of available resources in carrying out the assigned responsibilities and ensure timely completion according to set standards.
Identify the competencies and knowledge required for direct reports to perform their assigned responsibilities and develop appropriate training plans to enhance performance.
Cascade operational priorities including profitability, reliability, safety & environmental requirements to all direct reports and support them in executing the daily activities
Provide functional supervision to Inspection team and support them in performing their assigned duties and responsibilities. Ensure the quality of work performed by Inspection Contractors as well as compliance with the agreed contract.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Certified in minimum of two API’s / or two international certificates related to Inspection field.
Minimum Experience:
10 years in the Inspection field.

- Competent in material selection (metallic & non-metallic materials), metallurgy and welding, corrosion management, pipeline inspection and maintenance, integrity of static equipment, cathodic protection, and coating systems.
