Job Purpose
To perform shift operation activities and run the plant to produce the required production quality and quantity as per the operation standard procedures and MSHEM procedure.
Also to take allEHSS and equipment monitoring actions to prevent EHSS incidents or equipment failures. Behave proactively & conduct patrolling to assure plant safety, security & equipment conditions.
Key Accountabilities
Compliance with MSHEMS Procedure:
• Comply with Maaden policies and MSHEMs procedures, quality procedures
• Be aware of all MSDS, and MSHEM in general and be fully familiar with MSHEM elements related to his position and ensure full compliance with the above MSHEM Systems, Practices and Procedures.
Routine Job Compliance:
• Understands the importance of the field operator role for the safe and successful functioning of the organization and commitment to his job in a safe manner and performs to his potential to contribute to the organization's development.
• Regularly perform unit surveys & monitoring to ensure safety & unit equipment reliability. Checks and inspects the operation parameters to ensure their compliance with the instructions, SOP & normal operation parameters/conditions.
AbnormalityAssessment and Actions:
• Maintain equipment and the area under control in a safe operable condition and identify all reliability issues.
• Observe equipment conditions for any changes in sound, leaks or other abnormalities & inform DCS Operator, Lead Operator and Shift Supervisor.
Job Knowledge:
• Fully familiar with his area's High Potential Hazards & Emergency Response strategies.
• Defines any problem clearly, tries to solve it & informs the supervisor immediately for action.
• Ensures Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance by himself & everyone working in his area.
Minimum Qualifications:
Technical Diploma in relevant field.
Minimum Experience:
Min 8 years of experience in operation activities within power and utility plants or related fields.
