Position Overview:
We are currently seeking highly motivated Mechanical Engineering students for a co-op placement at Kidd Operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment, where students will gain exposure to maintenance engineering, fixed plant equipment reliability, and technical project support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to enhance the reliability of fixed plant equipment
- Investigate and complete Engineering Work Orders in compliance with industry standards
- Maintain and manage engineering documentation databases
- Collaborate with project teams and provide technical insights
- Assist with administrative tasks as required to support operations
Qualifications:
- Be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program at a recognized Canadian university
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts (Kidd Operations reserves the right to modify working schedules as necessary, in accordance with applicable notice requirements and labor regulations.)
