Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, you will be part of the Site Services & Infrastructure Department. You will be responsible for providing key support in planning and scheduling resources for preventative maintenance requirements, while maximizing the productivity and availability of all applicable equipment at minimal cost. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Maintaining schedule compliance with team members;
- Providing analysis and interpretation of maintenance trends and variances;
- Making recommendations to improve systems and initiating the required corrective actions;
- Issuing work orders in accordance with production requirements and resource availability;
- Continuous monitoring plan/schedule progress and reporting on the current status to team members;
- Capturing and recording all maintenance activities, compiling maintenance reports according to departmental and client needs;
- Providing the Site Services and Infrastructure team with decision support, tracking reports, assessments and re-planning approaches.
What You Need To Succeed
- Minimum of five (5) years professional experience in project controls, planning and scheduling;
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and project execution within industrial settings, preferably in the mining sector;
- Mechanical Engineering background is an asset;
- Proficient in SAP and JD Edwards;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 7 days of work at our Detour Lake mine site, followed by 7 days off;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
