The Role
The successful person will become a member of a friendly and professional team with sitewide operational responsibility for the procurement of inventory and non-inventory goods in accordance with company requirements.
You will be responsible for:
- The procurement of goods and services in accordance with Minara policies and procedures
- Maintaining a consistent flow of goods to the operation in line with our budgets
- Liaising with the internal and external customers to ensure a high level of services are maintained at all times
- Monitoring supplier performance via KPI reporting and conduct regular strategic meetings with key suppliers to monitor and improve ongoing service levels
- Facilitation of weekly and monthly data for department and management reports
- Management of the Repairable Items Management System.
About You
This role would suit a driven procurement professional with an upbeat attitude looking for a challenging and dynamic site-based role at our Murrin Murrin Operations.
You will have:
- Experience in transactional procurement of goods role and have an awareness of commercial and common law
- Strong negotiation skills with a strong customer service focus;
- Knowledge of mechanical and pressure flow equipment and parts (Advantageous)
- Good computer skills with the ability to use word processing, presentation and spread sheet applications
- Exposure to business integrated supply systems (e.g., Oracle) (Advantageous)
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills
