BHP's Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence (MECoE) are the coming together of a dedicated, innovative team focused on identifying, achieving, and maintaining the highest standards in maintenance for BHP globally. About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Standardised Work (SW), this position is accountable for supporting the embedment of SW as part of BHPs overall maturity in and as a foundation of the BHP Operating System (BOS).
Working within the MECoE and directly with the Assets and functions you will assure the sustainable embedment of Standardised work as the way of working at BHP, enabling and empowering the frontline to continuously improve.

Your key accountabilities include:
- Coach and support teams with Standardised Work methods and the SW Digital Tools.
- Support ongoing capability building across BHP through role modelling, knowledge sharing, coaching and training.
- Provide input into focus areas and activities with a lens on unlocking value and realising sustainable business improvement.
- Facilitate problem solving sessions with teams to identify the root cause of problems
- Collaboratively problem solve and explore opportunities to implement improvements into SW using the appropriate BOS tools.
- Apply an understanding of business terminology, key operational processes and key business activities within and between functional areas (e.g. finance, supply, procurement, work management).
- Drive business improvement through the measurement of BHP's performance.
- Identify, implement and evaluate the success of continuous improvement activities / initiatives to improve the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of BHP systems and processes.
- Review quality of Standardised Work content with the Operations teams, providing feedback and coaching, ensuring associated outcomes are being enabled
- Participate in planning, design and User Acceptance Testing associated with the SW Digital Tools, engaging with the Operations to ensure a fit for purpose solution
- Support Operations with SW Digital Tools enhancements requests by providing feedback and reviewing requirements documentation
- Actively support Operations in delivering priority initiatives through applying the Standardised Work process
- Engage the capabilities of the entire organisation.

About You
As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Passion & experience for identifying and embedding best practice in a systematic way.
- Exposure to maintenance, mining or processing is ideal but experience in other industries that utilise an operating system founded on lean principles would be highly regarded (e.g. manufacturing, health, finance, logistics, etc.)
- You will have an understanding/exposure to deploying and embedding continuous improvement methodologies at scale as well as the management of the associated organisational change.
- You will have an understanding/exposure to key business systems (e.g. SAP, APM, SW DT, D2, GRC).
- You will be comfortable with ambiguity, complexity and delivering outcomes in a matrix environment using your collaboration, engagement, influence and coaching skills.

Location and Roster
There is flexibility for this role to be Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide based.
