About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. Primary Responsibilities
- Washing mobile equipment (Both Heavy and Light) and components as required
- Maintaining the Surface Wash Bay Cleanliness to promote a safe and efficient work area
- Performing routine and daily inspections of applicable equipment and work area
- Completing work orders as assigned and tracking completion of tasks
- Assisting Mechanical Clerks with Administrative duties when needed.
- Replenish shop inventory (parts oil, etc...).
- Empty all waste and recycling bins from shops and put them in proper disposal area (on surface)
- Assist the mechanic as required and perform other duties as assigned.
