The Role
This role is a member of a hardworking, proactive and committed team who are responsible for safely maintaining the light vehicle fleet and ancillary equipment on site to a high standard.
You will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the daily planned and unplanned maintenance priorities and schedule maintenance activities, including major equipment failures, and corrective actions
- Reporting the extent & repair status to asset owners (As required)
- Collaborate with our Maintenance Planners and Supervisors for ongoing maintenance requirements of vehicles and ancillary equipment
- Collecting quotes and material requirements for vehicles and ancillary equipment with external suppliers; and
- Sourcing hard to find parts via internet, product information and suppliers
About You
- This role would suit an Auto-Technician (LV) looking for a rewarding career in mining. You will also:
- Be a team player with the ability to work un-supervised;
- Able to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders
- Have an understanding of workplace HSE procedures and have a positive attitude towards safety
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn new applications and systems use in reporting, recording, researching, presentations etc
