Our Opportunity

Work Location: Christmas Creek - Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.

Roster: 2/1 roster ex Perth, Busselton, Port Hedland, Broome, Karratha

We are looking for experienced Excavator Operators who have worked with some or all of the following equipment in a mining environment:

Liebherr 9400, Liebherr 996, CAT6040, CAT6060
CAT D10T

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to shift coverage and operational efficiency.
Assist to meet daily operational targets.
Maintain assets to operational capacity.
Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with Fortescue values.
Comply with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis.

Qualifications and Experience

Ability to proficiently operate all or some of the listed machinery.
WA Class C Driver's License.
Mobile equipment operation in the mining industry is essential.
Ability to read mine plans.
Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act Regs.
Communication and interpersonal skills - two-way operation.
