Job Description
The QA/QC Inspector is to check custom fabricated parts / assemblies to drawing specifications provided and report all deviations to engineering. The Inspector must also inspect material certificates, non-destructive testing reports, Ultrasonic reports and dimensional reports.
Successful applicant will be required to successfully complete pre-employment drug, alcohol and medical evaluation.
Responsibilities
Ensure quality of drill parts; check parts when received and work with vendors to resolve issues.
Perform general office duties as required such as printing/plotting, completing reports, send receive emails etc. in order to accept quality product.
Adhere to quality control standard / procedure set out.
Use of rigging and lifting procedures / knowledge.
Knowledge of QAQC instrumentation and how to use / calibrate equipment.
Review work once completed.
Keep accurate time records for billing purposes and submit weekly to the Shop Superintendent.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Graduate of in Technical or College courses in Drafting
Preferred: Graduate of in Technical or College courses in Drafting
Work Experience
Required: 3-5 years of technical experience
Preferred: 5-10 years of technical experience
Computer Skills
AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (Solidworks)
MS Office
Adobe Reader
SharePoint
Knowledge Required
Reading and knowledge of measuring tools.
Strong AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (Solidworks) skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
