Your impact
Lead and facilitate the budget process, consolidate financial inputs for strategic planning, implement and assess financial models, guide and monitor finance analysts, and improve understanding of financial data to ensure accurate reporting and strategic decision-making.
As Part Of Our Team You Will
- Drive the development and delivery of management reporting, ensuring insights are actionable, timely, and aligned with site, regional, and corporate business needs.
- Support the Regional Annual Business Plan and Quarterly/Rolling Forecast processes, including Levels of Authority (LoA), across four operating mines and one regional office in four countries.
- Analyze and challenge business performance, comparing actual results against budgeted and forecasted targets, while working with site finance directors to drive accountability.
- Facilitate the Regional Reporting process for Monthly Performances Report, Quarterly Reports, LATAC Operational Excellence Performances
- Manage and support the Regional Annual Business Plan and Quarterly / Rolling Forecast processes in LATAC.
- Generate internal reports and KPIs along with ad hoc analysis as the need arises for the Regional Office and Site Base
- Analyze and report cost and production forecast/ budget information
- Support forecast/planning process, including communication and training materials
- Provide BPC System functional and business process support for planning applications
- Perform conventional planning practices including researching and analyzing trends
- Create/Maintain presentations, spreadsheets, reports, or other metric-driven tools
- Pro-actively work closely with the Americas Controllership driving resolution and alignment on financial standards and policies.
Prerequisites for your success in this role
- Solid experience in the areas of Finance, operations and planning ideally in the mining sector or a related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field
- CPA or CFA designation preferred
- Working knowledge of SAP, SAP BPC, Xeras strongly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills at both strategic and financial levels.
- Proven track record improving business processes and continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Sense of urgency, self-motivated, result oriented and innovative thinker with high energy to deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, coach and retain a high functioning team.
Your work environment
- The position is hybrid and is located at the LATAC regional office in Miami, FL or Denver Office, in Colorado.
- Role requires travel domestically and internationally as required.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $126,480.00 - $166,005.00. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
