Your impact
The Team Lead, Treasury is responsible to administer cash management oversight, including reconciliation and positioning, handle ACH, wire, and bank transfers, assess and implement process improvements, manage short-term investments, supervise FX trades and reporting, and distribute workloads to ensure transaction accuracy.
As part of our team you will
- Execute cash management oversight including prior day bank reconciliation and current day positioning
- Approve 3rd party and intercompany ACH, wire and bank transfers, account funding and intercompany funding
- Implement and provide continuous improvements to the cash management process
- Administer short-term investments working directly with banking partners
- Supervise day to day processing of FX trades, investing and reporting
- Administer workloads for the team members and monitor accuracy of transactions
Prerequisites for success in this role
- The primary skills for this position include cash management, bank reconciliation, ACH and wire transfers, and FX trading.
- Considering the financial oversight aspect of the role, the accepted body of knowledge, such as formal education qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
- Essential knowledge that has been gained through work practice with cash management processes and financial transactions.
- Essential soft skills for leadership are required for this position, including investment placement and transaction accuracy.
- The primary skills discussed include cash management, bank reconciliation, and FX trade processing. For this Team Lead role, the applicant must demonstrate advanced proficiency in these areas.
- Identify practical application proficiency in cash management and FX trading that best supports these activities within your organization.
- The role also necessitates familiarity with financial software and banking systems, including the ability to carry out specific activities using appropriate tools and processes to achieve defined business outcomes.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $115,000 to 150,990. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
