Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Administrative Technician to support the Carlin Safety and Health (S&H) department. The successful candidate will support and assist the S&H team with administrative tasks such as document control, data entry, ensuring compliance, and coordinating events.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining S&H weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance for all state and regulatory reporting
- Support for IsoMetrix EHS management system
- Responsible for ensuring all purchasing and vendor payments are in accordance with budgetary requirements
- Responsible for data entry, document control, and recordkeeping of H&S information in multiple preferred software solutions
- Serve as a liaison between managers and employees, schedule appointments, meetings, and event planning/coordination as needed
- Compose correspondence, edit documents, and transcribe meeting minutes as needed
- Perform printing, copying, collating, binding, packaging, etc.
- Electronic filing with knowledge of filing systems
- Maintain and update department files, records, and publication
- Prioritize incoming mail and respond as appropriate
- Interact and engage with workforce to support H&S initiatives and programs
- Provide assistance to the S&H personnel as needed
- Support S&H by performing on-call duties at regularly scheduled intervals during the year
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required
- Strong and proven experience in Microsoft Office required
- Strong and proven skills in SAP, IsoMetrix, Element, and other databases preferred
- Ability to work independently to run multiple complex systems and tasks required
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
- Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field experience preferred
- One (1) year experience in the mining industry preferred
