Executive Professional Driver - Johannesburg Office
SRK Consulting is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive Professional Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation services for our employees and clients. The ideal candidate will possess advanced driving skills, basic First Aid Level 3 training, health and safety knowledge, professional defence training, and be PSIRA registered. This role requires flexibility to work additional hours, including extended trips and overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional driving services for SRK employees and clients, ensuring safe and timely transportation.
- Conduct extended trips to and from various sites, including 2–3 day trips with overnight accommodation as required (expenses for overnight stays will be covered by the company).
- Always maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in excellent working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Assist with the collection and delivery of SRK employees and clients as needed.
- Implement health and safety practices during all transportation activities.
- Utilise professional advanced and defence training skills to ensure the safety and security of passengers.
- Provide basic first aid assistance if necessary.
- Be responsible for vehicle safety inspections etc.
Qualifications And Experience
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is required.
- Demonstrated experience as a professional driver, ideally in an executive or corporate environment.
- Certification in Basic First Aid Level 3.
- Training in health and safety protocols.
- Completion of professional defense training.
- Advanced driving skills training.
- Registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including extended trips and overnight stays (expenses for overnight stays will be covered by the company).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and reliability.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to undergo background checks and security clearances.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Well-groomed and presentable.
