WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and any other financial discrepancies.
- Financial reporting by ensuring compliance with local accounting standards (Chinese Accounting Standards) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Prepare and file tax returns in adherence to Chinese tax laws (Corporate Income Tax, Value Added Tax, etc.).
- Assist in tax planning and strategizing to optimize tax liabilities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
- Prepare documentation and assist with internal and external audits. Liaise with auditors to provide requested information.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, sales, management) to provide financial guidance and support.
THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CA) is preferred.
- Relevant work experience in accounting or finance, typically between 2-5 years depending on the position.
- Familiar with SAP S4 HANA.
- Communication skills in English.
