Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in taxation, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English and at least one of the following languages: Spanish, Russian, French, or Chinese.
- At least 5 years of experience in asset and cost analysis.
- Familiarity with asset lifecycle management and cost control processes, with extensive practical experience in handling complex and dynamic business scenarios independently.
- Understanding of material and inventory management, with the ability to apply relevant tools and models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization, ensuring material supply efficiency while minimizing inventory.
- Knowledge of capital expenditure management processes in the mining industry, with a preference for candidates who understand mining asset characteristics and cost structures and can develop effective asset management and cost control strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and refine a tracking system for subsidiary asset management, regularly collecting, organizing, and analyzing asset-related data, including asset structure, idle assets, turnover rates, accounts receivable aging, and reconciliation accuracy. Provide comprehensive asset insights to support decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of asset data, collaborating with management to identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities in asset management. Assist in developing targeted improvement plans based on industry best practices and monitor their implementation to enhance asset efficiency.
- Investigate and analyze key asset management issues, such as idle asset accumulation and low turnover rates, proposing feasible solutions to optimize asset utilization and unlock asset value.
- Assist overseas subsidiary finance and infrastructure teams in the strict review and control of capital expenditures. Participate in the early-stage budgeting of projects, utilizing professional knowledge and data analysis to ensure accurate and reasonable budgets aligned with corporate strategy and actual needs.
- Continuously assess the economic feasibility of projects, closely monitoring market trends and cost fluctuations to adjust forecasting models accordingly. Provide forward-looking recommendations to management to maximize the economic benefits and investment returns of capital projects.
- Optimize capital expenditure processes, strengthen monitoring and risk management, and proactively identify and resolve budget overruns and implementation obstacles. Ensure smooth execution and high efficiency in overseas projects.
- Identify inefficient and non-performing assets through data analysis and on-site investigations. Establish a list of idle assets and conduct detailed evaluations of their condition, market value, and potential disposal options.
- Lead the development of rational disposal strategies for idle assets, utilizing various methods such as sales, leasing, and exchanges to enhance asset liquidity, improve turnover rates, and maximize returns on capital investment.
- Establish a tracking system for asset disposal effectiveness, regularly reviewing outcomes, summarizing lessons learned, and continuously refining disposal strategies to create a closed-loop asset optimization management system.
- Support material cost management by determining optimal inventory levels. Use data analysis and demand forecasting models to balance inventory holding costs with stockout risks, ensuring both timely and cost-effective material supply.
