Valmet’s corporate logo – a green, forward-pointing arrow emblem with the word Valmet in steel grey – conveys a customer-focused and strong forward looking company with sustainability as a success factor.
The name of the new company – Valmet Corporation – was announced earlier this year.
“The name is already historically familiar to people and it is associated to high quality and reliability. This is an excellent basis to start building the company’s recognition and corporate image globally,” says Valmet’s President & CEO, Pasi Laine.
Valmet’s operations are divided into three business areas and five geographical areas. The business areas are Services, Pulp & Energy and Paper. The geographical areas are North America, South America, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), Asia-Pacific and China.
Valmet’s customer promise is “Forward”
Valmet’s corporate visual identity exemplifies the company’s basic premise, strategy and intent. The ultimate reason for Valmet’s existence is to convert and refine renewable resources into sustainable results. Valmet’s strategy is to provide competitive technologies and services to the pulp, energy and paper industries. At the heart of this strategy is also the company’s strong commitment to move its customers’ performance forward. Valmet’s vision is, in fact, to become the global champion in serving its customers.
“Our customer promise – ‘Forward’ – reflects our strong commitment to promoting our customers’ success and to developing solutions for the future. Valmet is moving forward, its business operations promote sustainability and we are strongly involved in improving our customers’ results.
“Valmet’s competitiveness is based on our leading position in providing services and technologies for industries using bio-based raw materials. Our comprehensive services offering, broad service network, and large installed equipment base will provide a solid platform for growth. Together with our committed and highly skilled personnel, we are committed to the future success of Valmet and its owners and customers,” says Laine.
Valmet’s corporate image was designed by the Finnish advertising agency Briiffi, in cooperation with Valmet’s management.
