SNC-Lavalin Awarded Basic Engineering Support Contract for Anagold’s Çöpler Sulfide Expansion Project

Toronto, ON, February 5, 2015 – SNC-Lavalin has been awarded a contract by Anagold Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi to provide basic engineering support for the Çöpler Sulfide Expansion Project in eastern Turkey.

SNC-Lavalin will assist Anagold with the development of the basic engineering performed by others, by monitoring on-going and planned activities including design reviews, constructability reviews, providing supporting information for the preparation of the capital cost estimate and other related activities.

Once the basic engineering has been completed, SNC-Lavalin intends on providing Anagold with a proposal for executing the engineering, procurement and construction of the project.

When completed the mine is expected to process approximately 5,000 tpd of sulfide ore.
