SNC-Lavalin is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Intrepid Mines Zambia Limited to carry out Phase 1 Early Work Activities on the Kitumba Copper Project Definitive Feasibility Study. The project is located in Mumbwa District in the Central Province of Zambia, approximately 200km west of the capital, Lusaka.

NC-Lavalin Australia Pty Ltd., in joint venture with McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust) Pty Ltd., has been awarded a project by Rolleston Coal to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the Rolleston 5th Coal Valve Project located in the Bowen Basin, 275 kilometres west of Gladstone, Australia.

SNC-Lavalin (TSX: SNC) has signed a contract with Stornoway Diamonds (Canada) Inc. to provide project management, detailed engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for the Renard Diamond Project located in the James Bay region of Quebec, Canada. The capital cost related to SNC-Lavalin’s scope of services is estimated at over $425 million.
