Mineral Resources said on Wednesday it had temporarily paused haulage from its Onslow Iron project in Western Australia, following a road train accident earlier this week.

The rear two trailers of the road train had tipped onto their side on the haul road on March 17, 2025, the company reported to WorkSafe WA, the government agency tasked with reducing workplace fatalities in the mining and petroleum sectors.

Haulage is continuing through contractor vehicles using alternative routes, while the cause of the incident is under internal investigation, the miner said.

Mineral Resources added that it expects to resume haul road operations without affecting its Onslow Iron volume projections for the fiscal year 2025.
