Gatos Silver extends mine life to 2032, boosts output by 36%
Updated mineral reserve for its flagship Cerro Los Gatos mine in Mexico also shows a 28% increase in contained silver ounces.
Brazilian miner Vale said on Friday that the firm’s incoming chief executive officer would start in his role on Oct. 1.
In August, Vale named Gustavo Pimenta, currently chief financial officer of the firm, to the post. In a separate filing on Friday, Vale said that financial controller Murilo Muller would fill the CFO role through the end of the year.
