Incoming CEO of Vale to start Oct. 1

Brazilian miner Vale said on Friday that the firm’s incoming chief executive officer would start in his role on Oct. 1.
In August, Vale named Gustavo Pimenta, currently chief financial officer of the firm, to the post. In a separate filing on Friday, Vale said that financial controller Murilo Muller would fill the CFO role through the end of the year.
