BHP set to detail copper growth plans on Chile roadshow, analysts say
The world's biggest listed miner will be hosting analysts and investors on a roadshow of its Escondida and Spence copper operations from Nov. 17-20.
Mining giant Grupo Mexico, one of the world’s largest copper producers, on Wednesday said its net profit rose in the third quarter by 7.9% to $844 million compared with the same period a year earlier.
The company also reported a 28.9% increase in revenue year over year, to $3.65 billion.
Grupo Mexico’s shares fell 2% after the results was released early Wednesday.
