Resolute Mining says it will pay Mali $160 million in tax dispute
The company’s shares in Sydney were suspended on Thursday, after tumbling 40% since news of the detention of CEO Terry Holohan.
State-run Chinese aluminium producer Chalco’s bauxite project in Guinea is “operating normally” after the overthrow of President Alpha Conde, a Chalco spokesperson said in a text message on Monday.
Chalco, formally known as Aluminum Corp of China Ltd, produces bauxite, the main aluminium ore, from the Boffa mine in the West African country.
