Antam targets 10% increase in nickel ore output

Indonesia’s state mining company Aneka Tambang (Antam) said in a statement late on Thursday:
- Nickel ore output is targeted at 12.10 million wet tonnes in 2022, up 10% annually.
- Nickel ore sales target at 10.05 million tonnes in 2022, up 31%, on the expectation of bigger demand from domestic refiners
- Ferronickel output and sales in 2022 estimated at around 24,000 to 25,000 tonnes of nickel content
- Bauxite production in 2022 was seen at around 1.80 million tonnes, sales at around 1.44 million tonnes
