Techno-economic Evaluation of Mining Projects:
Responsible for conducting comprehensive techno-economic assessments of mining projects, including the evaluation of project feasibility, profitability, and long-term financial sustainability.
Capital and Operating Cost Analysis:
Preparation and analysis of capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX) estimates for mining projects. Assessment of project costs to ensure accuracy and support investment decision-making.
Financial Modeling and Cost Forecasting:
Development of financial projections, including production cost forecasting, revenue estimation, and financial performance analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
Financial Statements and Cash Flow Analysis:
Preparation and analysis of profit and loss statements, economic and financial indicators, and project cash flow models. Evaluation of project performance based on key financial metrics.
Sensitivity Analysis and Break-Even Assessment:
Conducting sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of changes in key variables on project profitability. Determination of break-even points and evaluation of project risks and opportunities.
Financing and Investment Analysis:
Assessment of potential financing sources and funding structures. Support in identifying optimal financing solutions and preparing documentation for investors, financial institutions, and project stakeholders.
Type of Professional Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in economic analysis, financial evaluation, mining project assessment, or investment studies.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
Foreign Language Skills:
Fluent English is a plus.
Special Knowledge and Skills:
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Knowledge of mining industry economics, project evaluation methodologies, investment analysis, and financing structures. Ability to prepare feasibility studies, economic assessments, and financial reports for mining projects. Candidates with a passed professional mining engineering exam will be considered an advantage.
