Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to support a major data centre project in Sweden. This is a critical contract role suited to a highly competent electrical professional with strong experience in high-voltage systems, switching operations, and safe system governance within mission-critical environments.
You will play a key role in ensuring the safe operation, maintenance, and energisation of electrical systems on a large-scale project.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for high-voltage (HV) electrical systems
- Issue and control Permits to Work (PTW) and switching documentation
- Prepare and oversee switching schedules and procedures
- Carry out HV switching operations safely and in line with project requirements
- Ensure compliance with site safety rules, electrical safety standards, and local regulations
- Interface with construction, commissioning, and operations teams
- Support energisation and commissioning activities
- Provide technical guidance and leadership on electrical safety matters
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with HV systems
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP)
- Extensive knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems (typically 10kV–132kV or similar)
- Experience in data centres, critical infrastructure, or large industrial projects
- Strong understanding of electrical safety rules and switching procedures
- Ability to manage and issue permits and safety documentation
- Previous experience on commissioning or energisation phases highly desirable
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
- SAP authorisation from a recognised framework or employer
- English fluency required; Swedish language is advantageous
