Your Next Challenge
As a member of the Finance Technology EPM team, you will play a key role in optimizing and advancing Agnico’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform. You will contribute to the development of future‑ready, automated finance processes that deliver strong returns on finance technology investments. Working with tools such as Databricks, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Workiva, and Power BI, you will maintain a holistic view of business processes and user needs to assess impacts across system configuration, workflows, and reporting. You will support the ongoing enhancement of global planning models, financial reporting, and embedded analytics used by management at all levels of the organization. In close collaboration with end users across mine sites, regional teams, and corporate functions, you will help ensure the EPM platform is used efficiently, effectively, and consistently to support business decision‑making.
- Support efforts around internal customer relationships including development of performance management solutions.
- Support the evaluation and prioritization of features and initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and resource capacity that support durable growth and scale.
- Work with end users to develop and improve global planning models (budget/forecast/LOM) and financial reports for management at different levels in the global organization.
- Participate in gathering and documentation of business requirements, ensuring clarity and understanding of objectives.
- Support the analysis of data sets to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and support decision-making processes.
- Support the process of identifying inefficiencies in workflows or systems and propose solutions to optimize business processes.
- Support the creation of detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, and outcomes, including business requirement documents (BRDs) and user stories.
- Collaborate with IT and design teams to ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and enhance user experience.
- Execute training sessions with the end users to maximize impact from the overall technology stack in use.
- Create test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet requirements.
- Support cross-enterprise relationships and communications with mine sites, corporate and regional teams addressing planning and analysis models in the company’s EPM systems.
- Support the development and maintenance of the global data management program with the aim of providing management with reporting and analytics using the EPM stack of technologies.
- Participate in the execution of various projects and initiatives that seek to further corporate strategy and goals, as outlined in the department’s action plan.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, IT or other relevant field of study.
- CPA/CMA/CFA/MBA.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in business analysis or a related role.
- Experience from implementing or being an advanced end user of EPM solutions, such as Oracle Hyperion, OneStream, Anaplan, or equivalent.
- Experience from using visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with AI and ML.
- Familiarity with Databricks or a similar tool.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from our Corporate Office in Toronto, ON. Recurring visits to site are required (~30% travel).
