The Earthworks / Tailings Dam Superintendent is responsible for all planning and construction aspects of the tailings management and mine waste management facilities, plant site earthworks (includes tree clearing, site access roads, and pit development) and related water management (collectively earthworks scope). During detailed engineering the focus will be on construction planning, while in the construction phase, the role will be responsible for managing the successful execution of all related construction activities safely, on-time and on-budget. The role is initially based in Toronto (remote work possible) and will be site-based during construction.
The Project is being executed using an Owner’s Project Team model. The incumbent will work closely and effectively with all GBR departments, including Health and Safety, Environment, External Affairs, Project Controls, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Operations to ensure that the overall Project objectives are met.
The role will initially be based in Toronto and then transition to the Red Lake site.
