Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Training Supervisor, you will be part of the Training Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Manage the training support mailbox efficiently, including responding to requests, providing follow‑ups, and issuing clear instructions.
- Oversee internal and external audit reports and ensure accurate data validation (IIBA, ECC, SPEEXX, Class changes, etc.).
- Support Meliadine training operations by coordinating scheduling and contributing to the development, maintenance, revision, and implementation of training documents and career path materials.
- Participate in the design, development, and delivery of various training programs (e‑learning, classroom-based, blended learning, etc.).
- Assist with on‑site training activities and daily operational needs.
- Coordinate external training, including planning, logistics, vendor communication, and post‑training follow‑up.
- Provide support to Meliadine Training Team members on ongoing tasks, initiatives, and special projects.
- Support the administration and continuous improvement of the Training Management System (TMS).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other related field;
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Note that the official working language at Meliadine is English.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
- Accommodation and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
