In this role, you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Conduct daily operations of fluidized bed reactors, ballasted sand clarifiers, moving bed biofilm reactors and continuous backwashed upflow sand filters
- Conduct daily sample collection and make appropriate adjustments to the process reagents based on lab results
- Operate dewatering equipment - plate and frame filter press
- Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
- Providing support on various projects as needed
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a post-secondary diploma in Water Treatment, or Sciences
- Strong mechanical understanding of process equipment
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite®; especially Excel
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
- Previous experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interface systems is considered an asset
