Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Mechanical QC Lead for major data centre construction projects across Europe. You will oversee mechanical quality activities, including HVAC, piping, fuel systems, cooling systems, AHUs/CRAC units, fire protection, and mechanical commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all mechanical QA/QC processes across EPC and construction phases
- Conduct inspections on mechanical systems, installation, and commissioning
- Manage test packs, ITPs, check sheets, redlines, and turnover documentation
- Coordinate with GC, subcontractors, and client QC teams
- Ensure compliance with European and client construction standards
- Resolve quality issues, NCRs, and deviations
- Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation for handover
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or Mechanical Trade Qualification
- 7–10+ years experience in construction QA/QC
- Data centre project experience required (GC + subcontractor)
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, cooling, HVAC, pumps, chillers, fire systems
- Willingness to travel
- EU passport essential
