About Our Operation
The objective of Sanajiksanut is to increase Inuit workforce in all of AEM’s Nunavut operations by contributing to the development of skills and competencies of the Inuit population in the Kivalliq region. The Sanajiksanut Process is composed of 4 steps: Employment Information Session, Online Application, Pre-employment Training, and Employment. In completing these stages of the Sanajiksanut Process, applicants will better prepare themselves for future employment with AEM or one of its contractors.
Your Next Challenge
We are looking for potential candidates interested to work for the Energy & Infrastructure department to both
Meadowbank Complex and
Meliadine Mine (Contractor and AEM positions).
Tasks
- Cean rooms (empty garbage, dusting, sweep & wash the floors);
- Clean bathrooms;
- Clean camp common areas;
- Do the laundry;
- Clean offices, dry/changing rooms, lunch rooms and different work areas;
- Follow health & safety procedures.
