Job description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Officer to join our Projects team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately extract and enter information from transportation documents, including bills of lading (BOL), air waybills (AWBs), load confirmation statements, and freight invoices, into the ERP system.
- Review freight invoices for errors or discrepancies, ensuring accurate cost capture and forecasting of overall project freight expenditure.
- Create Logistics MRs in the Project ERP system, collaborating with Procurement and Cost Control teams to ensure completeness, accuracy, and clarity.
- Maintain and regularly update project freight tracking and forecasts.
- Coordinate project shipments with freight forwarders and expeditors, managing documentation, collection, delivery requirements, and shipment tracking to site.
- Resolve delivery issues by liaising with logistics service providers, project expeditors, and site teams.
- Control document flow and analyse logistics data for reporting purposes.
- Provide reports to the Project Management team as required.
- Respond to information requests and retrieve relevant files.
- Accurately enter logistics data and generate reports on project logistics operations.
Experience & Skills
- Experience in a similar role with a background in logistics.
- Proficiency in MS Office (including advanced Excel and Power BI skills).
- Strong data analysis skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience working with an ERP system.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Resilient, driven, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
