Principal Advisor Technology Procurement – Operations – Global Technology Procurement

About The Role
We are looking for a Principal Advisor – Operations - Global Technology Procurement. This leadership role will be responsible for delivering measurable value through their technology procurement expertise, senior leadership influencing skills, innovative mindset to support big picture thinking as it applies to operational digital strategies, establishing trusted relationships with category leads, GPOs, IS&T and Product Group digital leads as well as having oversight of key projects.

You have a passion for digital innovation, transformation and can speak the language of today’s technology landscape. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Global Technology you will
- Represent the Technology Procurement leadership team as you engage with the digital leaders across the Operational teams;
- Have a current understand of key enterprise solutions and innovations as they apply to Operations (e.g. Asset Management, E2E Value Chain, Mining Processes, Digital Twins, Automation etc);
- Build and manage effective relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders;
- Work with business partners, Global Process Owners, digital leads, IS&T and other key stakeholders to build trusted relationships and mature the demand management process and priorities of the Operational Domains and Product Groups;
- Agree success criteria and value to support prioritisation of work and strategy;
- Collaborate effectively with Global Technology Category leads to support key initiatives;
- Provide commercial leadership and guidance to the relevant stakeholder teams to establish yourself as a trusted advisor;
- Work effectively in a global team; and
- Provide leadership support to implement continuous improvement initiatives as they relate to Operations and technology.
What You Will Bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have had significant prior experience in Technology Procurement as well as a proven record of delivering value and leading commercial strategies as they relate to technology investments and solutions. Your ability to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to drive a culture of collaboration, participation and improvement is essential.
