Job Description
PURPOSE
Provide expert advice, guidance and support to operations' compliance teams to implement permitting compliance management, in line with Group and Business Unit strategy, including commitments to stakeholders under the permits.
KEY TASKS
- Coordinate permit´s compliance monitoring activities at the Business Unit level.
- Manage internal tools to oversight and control the compliance processes implemented by sites.
- Manage the KPI's of compliance with the permit’s executed by the operations when defined.
- Prepare and deliver reports required by the BU and Group Permitting.
- Provide support and guidance on compliance with the permitting standard and on regularization strategies and mitigation plans for compliance gaps
- Plan, organize and coordinate internal and external verifications associated with permitting compliance management
- Participate in internal working groups related to permit´s compliance matters, providing technical advisory and support.
- Monitor compliance with the commitments reportable to the authority and the site’s compliance process implemented by SHE teams, escalate and support to close the gaps that may involve regulatory, reputational and social risks.
Qualifications
- Environmental, chemical, natural resources, mining or civil engineer, geographer or related discipline.
- 3 to 4 year or specific experience in the subject.
