About The Role
We are recruiting a
Senior Advisor Frontline Digital, to champion the voice of our Iron Ore Frontline workers across Mines, Rail and Port in the work management space. Working closely with process owners and global digital product development teams the role will be instrumental in driving productivity improvement through the use of mobile applications, while protecting the user experience of the Iron Ore frontline workforce.
You’ll be part of a friendly team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team.
Reporting to the Principal Frontline Digital, you will be responsible for
- Being a subject matter expert for a core product or core product line in the work management space
- Work closely with development teams championing voice of the customer
- Manage conflicting priorities and broad-based stakeholder demands to ensure the right product features are progressed to implementation on behalf of Iron Ore
- Build and prioritise an Iron Ore product backlog based on value
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships with our front-line workforce, Iron Ore Maintenance Planning and Engineering, Improvement, IS&T teams to deliver high value outcomes
- Develop a strong product vision and roadmap for Iron Ore, integrating into the global product roadmap aligned to strategic priorities
- Assist with annual budgeting and resource forecasting, ensuring the product and team is set up for success
- Effectively manage value, risk and stakeholders
- Demonstrate agile principles and work in alignment with SCRUM, SAFe or other agile product frameworks
- Role model ‘Growth mindset’ behaviours – actively challenge the status quo
- Active participation in the broader RTIO Digital program with both internal & external teams to deliver business transformation
- Guide the development and implementation of project change management to reflect the operational environment and business requirements
- Develop objectives and key results with key measures of success for the core product/product line
- Engage stakeholders across Rio Tinto to understand end user requirements, and represent their views in development, resolve conflicts, and manage prioritisation of key features
What You'll Bring
- Subject matter expertise with business experience in either maintenance, asset management or work management
- Either engineering or relevant operational experience in the maintenance space -Fixed plant or MEM (Mobile equipment maintenance)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks based on business requirements
- Ability to understand product issues and communicate these and actions required to different levels in the organisation
- Ability to cope with continually changing, complex environment
- Product management, Project Management and Change management experience
- Experience in product ownership, SCRUM/SAFe or working with other agile frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively
