About the role
The Graduate Contracts and Procurement Analyst will play a role in supporting the Group Procurement team by providing expertise and guidance to EVN stakeholders in the procurement of goods and services. This position will be actively involved throughout the entire procure-to-pay cycle, encompassing supply chain management, vendor relationship management, contracts administration, and governance.
To be successful in this role you will need to
- Collaborate closely with Contracts and Procurement Specialists to build and strengthen relationships with stakeholders, ensuring business needs, risks, requirements, and expectations are fully understood and incorporated into procurement strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring that procurement activities reflect the significance and value of the goods and services being acquired.
- Support procurement processes by preparing category spend data, conducting market profiling, compiling sourcing documents, and participating in tendering activities in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in supplier negotiations, contribute to the establishment of supply arrangements, and support the implementation of procurement outcomes to drive cost efficiency and long-term value for the business.
Beyond procurement and sourcing, the Graduate Contracts and Procurement Analyst will also play an important role in contract management and compliance. This includes assisting in the development of contract management plans, monitoring supplier performance, resolving contract-related issues, and negotiating contract variations where necessary. Effective supplier relationship management will be key to optimizing business outcomes and ensuring contracts deliver the intended value. The role will also support governance by maintaining accurate procurement records, managing the tender platform and contracts register, and preparing reports on procurement activities to support informed decision-making and regulatory compliance.
About you
This role involves supporting the Group Procurement team by providing expertise and guidance on procurement processes for EVN stakeholders. It covers the full procure-to-pay cycle, including supply chain management, vendor relationships, contract administration, and governance.
Key aspects of this role include:
- A degree in procurement, supply chain management, business, or a related field, along with experience in procurement and contract management.
- Building strong relationships and aligning procurement strategies with business needs, risks, and expectations.
- Assisting in the development and execution of sourcing strategies, market profiling, and tendering processes.
- Supporting supplier negotiations, contract implementation, monitoring performance, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.
- Manual Driver’s License or the ability to obtain a manual driver’s license before the program begins.
