About the Role
Join our dynamic Finance team as a Specialist Finance professional, where you will play a pivotal role in guiding financial strategies, analysing data, and driving business decisions that maximize value across our operations. Your expertise will help us optimize processes, improve financial performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
In this position, you will make an impact by:
• Providing strategic financial advice and insights to business stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions.
• Conducting timely and accurate financial reporting to inform decision-making and drive business performance.
• Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and build strong relationships.
• Analyzing financial data to drive business performance, cost management, and strategic planning.
You will be supported by our broader team to learn and grow in your role, collaborating with experts across the business to create a safe and engaging working environment. This will involve continually improving processes while applying best practice financial strategies and standards effectively.
About You
You will be a team player with strong foundation in financial planning and proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This expertise will enable you to provide insightful financial guidance and support to our business stakeholders.
Our Specialist Finance professionals come from a variety of financial backgrounds. You might currently be working in a similar role within the mining or resources sector, or you could be working in finance across different industries, bringing a unique perspective and skillset to our team.
Some key attributes we are looking for include:
• A curious and analytical mindset with strong communication skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex ideas.
• Demonstrated understanding of finance master data structures and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), along with advanced MS Excel skills.
• Proven ability to prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including variance analysis and performance insights.
• While not mandatory, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP) are a definite plus!
