This role will be responsible for effective deliveries of all resources identified in the various plans for various task packages. The objective is to have OTIF (On Time In Full) target of 100% for all Scheduled Work.

Job Description
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Deliver the requirements for every approved work package to be completed at the scheduled time.
- Determine promised supply dates and validating that supply dates will meet the Required Dates for Tasks.
- Collate materials and tools for each work package and Task.
- Arrange delivery of materials, tools and services to the specified workplace prior to the scheduled start time for each Task.
- Check that the delivered materials, tools and services meet the required specifications for the Task.
- Tracking of all deliveries according to Task Package
- Escalating each item where a supply date will not meet the scheduled start time.
- Escalate to supply chain resource coordinator to expedite supplies when required to do so
- Device a daily Logistics Plan and communicate to staging handlers to full-fill
- Schedule bins and update Bin registers according to Task packages
- Manage the return of unused goods and the return of these into stock or supplier
- Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, occupational health and safety and risk management standards and best practices
- Timely and accurate information given to all stakeholders
- Reports and records in the appropriate format in relevant management routines
- Ensuring effective teamwork in the resourcing team
- Identify potential conflict situations and minimize the implications of possible conflict
- Effective two-way open communication with colleagues and line supervisor
- KPI Reporting
- Interacting with other departments such as engineering and production
- Advising defects and abnormalities to appropriate supervisor or manager
Work Management
- Execution of all allocated tasks aligned to the approved schedule.
- Quality work performed.
- Management of utitiliy vehicles and operators.
- Licensing and training of utility vehicle operators.
- Leave and training rosters for the staging team.
Qualifications
- Trade certificate in relevant engineering field (Fitter, electrical, boilermaker, etc) or supply chain qualification (NQF 6)
Experience:
- At least 3 years engineering artisan experience in Mining/Process Industry or in supply chain processes.
- Workable knowledge of supply chain processes.
- Planning, Scheduling or materials management Experience
Technical Skills
- SAP Competent
- Must be familiar with risk assessments safe working procedures
- Computer literate
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Advanced competence in company policies, procedures and related legislation.
