This is a great opportunity for talented people who can develop as an Business Applications Engineer who will have the mission to align IT strategies and implement and support SAP ERP systems.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Strategic Alignment:
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs, challenges, and priorities.
- Align IT strategies and initiatives with business goals and objectives.
ERP Implementation and Support:
- Implement and support SAP ERP systems, including conducting trainings and providing technical support.
- Perform business process re-engineering, GAP analysis, and develop workarounds.
- Document all the information necessary to reach the business needs and the implementation in production.
- Help business testing the changes developed in quality environments.
Project Management:
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of IT projects in SAP
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business objectives.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the key interface between IT and business units, translating business needs into IT requirements, no matter the company area (finance, sales, purchases, logistics, human resources).
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT teams and business units.
- Prioritize the business requirements according to IT resources availability (human and economic).
Technical Expertise:
- Provide L2/L3 support for ERP systems and L1 technical support during implementations.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), obtain sign-offs, and prepare go-live plans.
- Microsoft 365 guidance to users and typical hardware issues solving.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor support issue resolutions as per agreed timelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Prepare and circulate reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and incorporate best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
- Assess and advise on the feasibility and impact of new technologies and systems.
THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minium 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with SAP ERP systems (and Odoo ERP).
- Strong understanding of both IT and business principles, including knowledge of technology trends, industry standards, and business processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management skills to oversee the delivery of IT projects.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex business challenges and identify opportunities for IT innovation and improvement.
