We are looking for a
Project Geoscientist to conduct work that inputs into projects with the potential to deliver ore bodies or project advancement capable of becoming large, low-cost, long life mines, to achieve quality area selection, rapid and efficient advancement of those projects
Reporting to the
Senior Project Geoscientist, you will
- Assist in target generation to deliver discovery/ advancement of projects.
- Provide technical support to specific components of project work.
- Provide input into project plan.
- Leads a straight forward project/ area or an element of a large/ complex exploration or project in a region, country or Business Unit.
- Applies techniques and technologies to projects to enable continual project prioritisation.
- Presents results to project/programme leadership
- Provides technical and operational support to specific planning and execution of exploration projects. Review assay results
- Supports the supervision of project and monitoring of technical milestones and operational requirements as projects progress
- Share knowledge of the logistical and technical aspects of the project with less experienced team members
- Ensures appropriate capture of time, cost tracks daily contractor activities
- Undertakes tenement and project activities reporting. Monitor tenement expenditure.
- Analyses performance information and makes recommendations for improvement to technical aspects of project delivery.
- Ensures personal behaviours are aligned with HSE requirements
What You’ll Bring

- Tertiary Degree in geoscience
- Minimum 2-3 years of Industry experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in geology and tenure management
- Good understanding of field geological programs, mineral resource reporting
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to frame and convey complex messages to a range of stakeholders using a wide range of communication methods

Where you will be working
In this role you will be required to adapt an agile way of working and spread your time across both the Perth Belmont office and our site-based operations right across the Pilbara.
Travel to the site is required on regular basis mainly in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
