Redpath's Scotia project based in Western Australia has continued to grow since operations commenced mid 2024, we are now looking for Production Drillers to join the team!
About The Project
The Scotia Project is located in Norseman in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, approximately 725km east of Perth, 200 km south of Kalgoorlie, and 200 km north of Esperance. Redpath have commenced an open ended 3-year development contract with rapid expansion over the next few months. The Scotia Project has great camp facilities based in the main street of Norseman approximately 25 minutes from site.
About The Role
- Working a 2 week on, 2 week off roster, 12hr shifts
- Perform accurate drilling by working with engineering to ensure holes are drilled correctly
- Ensure safe, effective and productive operation of the production drill
- Cable Bolt experience
- Ability to read and understand cable bolt layouts
- Responsible for application of the whole cable bolting process in an underground mine
- Safe and efficient installation of cable bolts for mine rehabilitation and ground support
- Productively perform mine production tasks as required
- Ensuring machinery used are cleaned and presented for service regularly
Skills & Experience Required
- Experienced in the operation of underground production drills
- Ability to accurately drill a series of long holes to a design pattern using a mechanised drill
- Proven experience with uphole, downhole, slot drilling and all other aspects of production drilling
- Simba experience
- The ability to multi-skill in underground operations
- Valid manual drivers licence
- First aid and CPR Certificate
- Working at Heights Certificate
