Chinalco, China's top aluminium producer, with its division Southeast Copper Limited, is managing this major project as a joint venture together with the province government of Fujian, which is intended to contribute to the supply of copper to Chinese industry. The plant in Ningde Zhangwan Industrial Zone will be completed in the second half of 2018 and is due to to produce 400,000 tons of copper. The LOESCHE mill has already been delivered, is now in the process of being assembled and should be in operation by August 2018.
The company based in Düsseldorf develops and produces machine and plant technology, in particular grinding plants and combined drying and grinding plants for the cement, steel, power station, mineral processing, chemical, refuse and mining industries.
Lafarge Africa Plc, group member of the well-known, global cement producer LafargeHolcim, is erecting a new coal grinding plant in its Nigerian factory, Ewekoro, and has once again chosen a LOESCHE mill.
The order comprises a 4-roller raw material mill with a material throughput of 500 t/h and two cement mills each with a grinding capacity of 210 t/h of portland cement. The order is finally complemented by another vertical roller mill for grinding 50 t/h of anthracite.
The past successes can only be perpetuated and carried on into the future if the increasing market demands, which today also increasingly include sustainability and ecology, are taken into account by increased efforts in research and development.
The most recent CS mills - 2x LM 53.3+3 CS - were sold to the Pakistani cement manufacturer, Kohat Cement Company Limited. The
plant is expected to produce 210 t/h of portland cement at a fineness of 9% R 45 µm.
