Düsseldorf – Back in 2007, Almamet bought a used type LM 12.2 LOESCHE mill for its Duisburg location. For this order, the customer took advantage of spare parts deliveries and deployments by LOESCHE’s service team to ensure a smooth running operation at all times.
Almamet relies on LOESCHE’s comprehensive scope of products and therefore selected a LOESCHE roller mill to grind the quick lime. The end customer explicitly asked for a European make. Because of their longstanding good experience with LOESCHE, Almamet had recommended the technology made in Düsseldorf. Due to the excellent services LOESCHE provides for its Duisburg plant, one was certain that the LOESCHE team in Düsseldorf was able to maintain the very tight schedule the project demanded.
Almamet has now commissioned a brownfield project, one of the smallest LOESCHE mills, a type LM 12.2 mill, on behalf of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works. This vertical roller mill, with an output of 12 t/h and a transmission power of 112 kW, is used to grind quick lime at a fineness of 4 % > 0.09 mm.
Besides the vertical roller mill, the scope of supply also includes the other major equipment such as the filter, the fan, the regulating flap valves and the entire process instrumentation.
A period of 6 months is allowed for delivery so that the LOESCHE roller mill can already be put into operation in August 2016.
