Metso has been commended in CDP’s Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index. CDP is a not-for-profit organization and they analyze companies’ disclosure of climate change information. The Index is a part of CDP’s annual Nordic 260 Climate Change Report which was released in Stockholm on October 16. Metso has been participating in the Carbon Disclosure project for several years and this year Metso received a score of 97/100, which for the first time raised Metso in the Nordic Carbon Disclosure Leadeship Index. The score was the highest among Nordic companies in the Industrials sector.

Carbon Disclosure Leadership index highlights the constituent companies within the Nordic stock exchanges which have displayed the most professional approach to corporate governance in respect of climate change disclosure practices. Companies are scored on their climate change disclosure and high scores indicate good internal data management and understanding of climate change related issues affecting the company.
