World energy consumption is set to grow 53% by 2035 and most of that energy will be coming from fossil fuels, according to a study by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
While energy consumption will grow slowly in the U.S. and Europe, countries like China and India that are growing their industrial base will be gobbling up more and more energy.
“Energy use in non-OECD nations increases by 85 percent in the reference case, as compared with an increase of 18 percent for the OECD economies,” writes the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The study was released last month.
Reference case does not incorporate prospective legislation or policies that might affect energy markets.
Disappointing fans of renewables and those concerned about greenhouse gas emission, the study finds that fossil fuels will account for 78 percent of world energy use by the year 2035.

Unless we can come up with the mythological EESU(Refer EESTOR) which should revolutionize the capacitor industry or similar, then peak oil is going to be a massive problem

Maybe you should have listened to certain germans in the 1930s, before you had these insurmountable problems. By 2030 if not before, you will need to reduce your population by billions. I can provide for 100 dairy cows on my 200 acres, not 10,000 cows. I wonder why that is. Can you say, FINITE!!!???

What we need is a good shootin’ war to clean out a billion or so people. Trouble is , human beings are biologically progammed to reproduce at even faster rates as a result of precipitious population decline. Malthus told us 200 years ago that when resources that when a species population relies on increases (usually) arithmatically the result will be that that species will increase exponentially. We are doomed by our biology, unless we become demi-gods, which many of us in the west sincerely believe we have become!

Saving energy is a great way to teach your children about environmental issues. It is an activity that has easily measurable results and one where your kids can participate actively. Get them involved from the get go! And teachers, take note: your students really want to help save energy in the classroom – they just need your nudge to get going.

This is a big consumption if it arise,If we will have this energy ratio can our resources sustain our need in terms of the supply of energy mainly the oil?
