Wesdome Gold Mines (TSE: WDO) of Toronto has released more results from the underground definition and exploration drilling at the Kiena Deep A zone at the Kiena mine complex in Val d’Or, Quebec.
With assays cut to 90.0 g/t gold, the grades are in the bonanza territory:
Four drills are operating on the 1050-metre level exploration ramp. Definition drilling has confirmed the overall continuity of the geometry and the high grade of the deep mineralization. The Deep A zone is now known to extend over 700 metres along plunge. A fifth drill is working from the 670-metre level.
Wesdome plans to have an updated Kiena resource by the end of this year. Consideration is also being given to an exploration drift to be driven to the 790-metre level.
