The Official Mining in Africa Country Investment Guide (MACIG) will be launched at Investing in African Mining Indaba™ in Cape Town this week (Feb. 8 – 11)

[Cape Town, 8 February] – Mining Indaba™ opens its doors to 7000 visitors interested in Africa’s growing mining industry. This annual event brings together governments, public and private mining companies, financiers and service providers from across the world to bring deal-making to a whole new level.

Global Business Reports (GBR) will be launching its third edition of The Official Mining in Africa Country Investment Guide (MACIG) during Mining Indaba™ this week. MACIG – GBR’s flagship publication on mining in Africa presents a unique investment guide providing an in-depth account of mining industries in top-african mining destinations.

GBR’s team has spent 10 months traveling across the continent meeting with governments and mining companies across the whole value chain to gather valuable insights for this publication. This year MACIG covers the following countries: Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Lesotho, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Republic of Congo, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The book features interviews with ministers of mining from these countries, geological maps and factsheets, as well as comments from the local and international mining companies operating in these jurisdictions.

MACIG will be circulated throughout this year at the world’s largest mining conferences including PDAC, Africa Downunder and Mines & Money London.

MACIG will be available throughout Mining Indaba™ in Cape Town between February 8 and 11. A digital copy of the book is available here.
