Atlanta, Georgia, USA – July 14, 2014 – H-E Parts International LLC today announced the appointment of Steven R. McBrayer as President of the company. Mr. McBrayer succeeds
J-P Richard, who has retired after founding H-E Parts in 2006, leading the company as CEO since its founding. Mr. McBrayer, the CFO of H-E Parts since 2006, has been instrumental in the company’s strategic growth. Mr. McBrayer brings a deep understanding regarding H-E Parts’ customers, its personnel and the heavy equipment and mining markets.
The announcement follows a thorough search process which considered both internal and external candidates. J-P Richard, the Founder of H-E Parts, headed up the search team and will remain active in the company through his participation on the Board of Directors. Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Richard said, “Steve is an extremely talented and experienced executive with whom I have enjoyed building H-E Parts over the past eight years. I care deeply about the company and my primary objective in leading a thorough search process was to ensure that the best successor leader was selected for H-E Parts. Prior to joining H-E Parts, Mr. McBrayer was CFO of Lanier Worldwide Inc. and held senior financial positions with Ricoh Corporation and Electrolux Corporation. He began his career at Ernst & Young. Mr. McBrayer received both Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Tennessee and graduated from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business Executive Program.
